Rectangle LED Outdoor Wall Sconce

Mounted vertically on a patio wall, this sconce reads less like a traditional light fixture and more like a slim architectural strip that happens to glow - a clean rectangle of stainless steel with a resin diffusion panel running down its length, throwing a soft, even column of light along the wall rather than a single bright point. It's built for the modern patios and outdoor entries that want lighting to feel integrated into the architecture rather than bolted on as an accessory, and at 27.56 inches tall it has enough presence to properly mark a wall or flank a door without needing a second fixture for balance. The resin diffuser keeps the LED's output soft and shadow-free across the whole rectangle, avoiding the hot single-point glare that a bare bulb sconce can create right at eye level on a dark patio. Available in black or white, it can either stand out against a lighter exterior wall or blend into a darker one, depending on the contrast you're after. Along a longer exterior wall, spacing two or three at regular intervals also gives the whole facade a consistent, architectural glow after dark rather than one bright point and a lot of shadow.

The housing is stainless steel, selected specifically for its resistance to rust and weathering in an exterior setting, and the diffusion panel is resin rather than glass or acrylic, chosen for how evenly it spreads the built-in LED's 28-watt, 2,800-lumen output across the full 27.56-inch height. It's IP65 rated for wet locations, meaning it's built to take direct rain rather than just occasional splash, and at just 6.3 inches wide and 4.33 inches deep, it sits close to the wall without projecting far enough to catch on passing furniture or foot traffic on a narrow patio. The LED is fully integrated rather than a replaceable bulb, so the whole low-maintenance unit is designed to run for years without needing a bulb swap. Installation is hardwired, standard for a permanent exterior wall fixture, and the vertical orientation means it needs a wall box positioned accordingly rather than a standard round one. Cleaning is limited to an occasional wipe of the resin panel and steel housing, both chosen specifically for how easily they shed dust and rain residue outdoors without staining. Because the LED is fully sealed rather than socketed, there's no bulb to replace over the fixture's lifespan, which simplifies long-term outdoor maintenance considerably compared to an open-bulb sconce.

Monvera Space includes fixtures like this for patios that are being treated as genuine outdoor rooms rather than an afterthought behind the house - somewhere with real furniture, real evening use, and lighting that needs to hold up to it. Mounted in pairs flanking a set of sliding doors or spaced along a longer patio wall, the vertical strips create a clean, repeated rhythm that reads as considered exterior design rather than a scattered set of individual lights. The stainless steel finish pairs naturally with modern outdoor furniture in black or natural wood tones, and because it's genuinely rated for wet exposure, you can install it with confidence in a spot that gets real weather rather than restricting it to a fully covered eave. Choose black for a graphic, architectural look or white for a lighter, more blended exterior palette, and expect it to keep working quietly through every season outside. It also pairs naturally with the travertine strip sconce elsewhere in this collection, giving you a stone-and-steel option and a pure-steel option to mix depending on which wall or material story you're working with. Both the black and white finishes carry the same IP65 wet-location rating, so the color choice comes down purely to which reads better against your specific exterior wall.
