Genji Cream Cake gets its name honestly: the resin shade layers into soft, rounded tiers that genuinely resemble a frosted dessert, each ring slightly narrower than the one below it, building up to a small domed top. It's a playful departure from the flatter, more austere shapes elsewhere in our wabi-sabi resin line, though it keeps the same handmade, faintly irregular surface texture that ties the whole collection together. Mounted as a wall sconce, the tiered profile catches light and shadow differently at each layer, giving the piece more visual depth than a single smooth dome would manage at the same 7.1-inch scale. With two E27 bulbs housed inside, it throws a fuller, more even glow than most single-bulb sconces of comparable size, making it a genuinely useful light source for a hallway or stairwell rather than a purely decorative accent.
