Aoshi-B Wabi-Sabi Resin Pendant

Aoshi-B is the largest-scale piece in our wabi-sabi resin line, a wide, gently curved pendant that goes well beyond our standard sizing into genuinely custom territory, up to a full meter across for anyone furnishing a space that needs a true architectural centerpiece overhead. At its standard sizes, from 30 up to 60 centimeters, it functions much like our other resin pendants, spreading soft, evenly diffused light across a dining table or open living area. But the option to go custom, up to 70, 80, or even 100 centimeters, sets Aoshi-B apart as the piece to reach for when a room's scale genuinely calls for something larger than off-the-shelf lighting typically offers, a double-height entry, a long communal dining table, or a great room with a ceiling tall enough to support real visual weight overhead. Even at its largest, the shade keeps the same soft, matte resin surface and gentle curvature that defines the rest of the wabi-sabi collection, just scaled up to a size that reads as genuinely monumental rather than merely large. Even at its standard sizing, the pendant already reads as more substantial than most fixtures in its category, which is part of why scaling further into custom territory feels like a natural extension of the design rather than an unusual special request.

Constructed from high-density polyethylene resin like the rest of our wabi-sabi pieces, Aoshi-B carries the material's usual durability and moisture resistance, important at this scale given how much surface area is exposed to ambient humidity and dust in a large open room. Standard sizes run 11.81, 15.75, 19.69, and 23.62 inches across, while custom orders extend to 27.56, 31.5, and 39.37 inches, each maintaining the same shallow, curved profile just scaled proportionally. All sizes use a standard LED E27 bulb rated up to 40 watts on AC power between 110 and 240 volts. Installation follows our familiar dual path, a hardwired version with a 6-foot or 16-foot adjustable cord, or a plug-in version with a 16-foot cord, inline switch, wire clips, and mounting bracket, though at the largest custom sizes we'd recommend the hardwired route for a cleaner, more secure install. Custom orders carry a one-week processing time on top of standard shipping, with total delivery running 7 to 20 working days depending on size and destination. Regardless of size, every Aoshi-B pendant ships with the same attention to the resin's matte, hand-finished surface, so the material quality stays consistent whether you order the smallest standard size or the largest available custom option.

At Monvera Space, Aoshi-B is the piece we point to when a client asks whether we can go bigger than what's typically stocked, and the honest answer is yes, considerably. It's not a fixture for every room, its scale genuinely needs a large table or open floor plan underneath to look proportional rather than overwhelming, but in the right space it becomes the single defining element of the room's design. Consider the custom sizes carefully against your ceiling height and table dimensions before ordering, since returns on a made-to-size piece are more complicated than on our standard stock. If you're building a home around a long communal table meant for gathering, whether that's a dining room or a great room kitchen island, this is the pendant scaled to match that ambition, holding its own visual weight against a room's largest architectural elements rather than getting lost above them. Because custom sizing involves a longer lead time than our standard stock, plan your installation timeline accordingly if you're working toward a specific move-in date or event, and reach out ahead of time if you need the piece by a particular deadline. Whatever size you land on, expect delivery timing to be the main planning variable, so build a bit of buffer into your renovation or move-in schedule if you're ordering above the standard 60-centimeter size.
