Crisp Silk Pendant

The Crisp Silk Pendant wraps a built-in LED panel in fabric for a slim, flat profile that hangs closer to a glowing disc than a traditional shaded pendant, available across six sizes running from a compact 15.7-inch D40 up to a full 47.3-inch D120 for genuinely large rooms and open kitchens. Because the light source is a built-in LED panel rather than a single bulb, the light spreads with remarkable evenness across the entire silk surface, no visible hot spot, no shadowed edges, just a broad, uniform glow that reads as calm and consistent from directly underneath or from across the room. That flat, wide profile makes it a strong choice over a long kitchen island or dining table where you want even coverage across the full surface below, rather than a single bright point overhead. Because the fabric is silk rather than a stiffer material, the fixture still carries a bit of warmth and texture in its glow, softer and more atmospheric than a plain acrylic LED panel would produce, while keeping the slim, contemporary profile that a bulkier traditional shade couldn't achieve. It's a pendant built for rooms that want even, generous light without the visual bulk of a deep or rounded shade taking up headroom.

Each size steps up its LED panel wattage alongside its diameter: the D40 and D50 both use an 18W panel, the D60 uses 23W, the D80 steps to 30W, and the two largest sizes, D100 and D120, both use a 48W panel to fill their considerably wider surface area evenly. All sizes maintain a slim profile relative to their width, ranging from just 4.7 inches tall at the smaller end up to 13.8 inches for the largest D120, keeping the fixture visually flat and disc-like even at its most expansive size. Installation follows the same two paths as other pendants in this collection: a hardwired version with an adjustable 59-inch cord and 3.9-inch ceiling cup, or a plug-in version with an inline on-off switch on a white or black 5-meter cord, including three wire clips for routing. Because the LED panel is built directly into the fixture, there's no bulb to source or replace, just a sealed light source rated for years of consistent, even output. The silk fabric wrap should be cared for gently, dusted rather than wiped wet, to preserve both its texture and its light-diffusing quality over the fixture's working life. Because the panel wattage scales sensibly with size, energy use per square foot of light output stays roughly consistent whether you choose the smallest or the largest version in the range.

Monvera Space stocks the Crisp Silk Pendant across its full size range because kitchens and dining rooms come in genuinely different scales, and this fixture is built to match rather than compromise. The smaller D40 and D50 suit a breakfast nook or a compact dining table, while the D60 and D80 handle a standard kitchen island or six-to-eight-person dining table well, and the largest D100 and D120 sizes are built for expansive open-plan kitchens or long communal tables where even, generous overhead light matters across real distance. Its slim, silk-wrapped profile keeps the fixture from feeling heavy or dated even at its largest size, a genuinely contemporary alternative to a bulkier shaded pendant or a plain flush-mount ceiling light. Choose hardwired for a permanent kitchen renovation, or plug-in when flexibility matters more, both delivering the same broad, even glow once installed. It's a pendant built for the rooms where people actually gather and cook and eat together, giving that whole surface consistent, comfortable light rather than a single bright spot at the center. Because the panel technology keeps the fixture slim even at its largest 120-centimeter size, it fits into kitchens with standard ceiling heights where a deeper, bulkier pendant of the same width would hang uncomfortably low over an island or table.
