230mm Mushroom Table Lamp

The mushroom lamp shape has become something of a modern classic for good reason: a rounded dome shade over a slim stem casts light downward and outward in a way that feels both playful and genuinely useful. This version stands 19.6 inches tall with a 9-inch diameter dome, substantial enough to anchor a side table or console without looking oversized on a smaller desk. The lacquered metal finish gives the dome a smooth, slightly glossy surface that catches ambient room light during the day and glows evenly once switched on at night, spreading a warm pool downward across whatever surface it sits on. It works equally well as a bedside lamp, a desk lamp for evening reading, or a living room accent piece that softens the room once overhead lights go off. Because the shape is so recognizable, it also does a lot of visual work on its own, a single well-placed mushroom lamp tends to become the object people notice first when they walk into a room, without needing any additional styling around it to justify its presence. Set beside a stack of books or a small plant, it grounds a side table instantly, and its rounded, friendly silhouette softens a room full of straighter, more angular furniture without needing to match any particular finish already in place.

MOKUPARK's engineering behind this lamp offers real flexibility depending on how it's meant to be used. In its plug-in configuration, it takes a standard E27 LED bulb rated up to 40 watts, giving genuine task-lamp brightness for a desk or reading chair. In its cordless, USB-rechargeable configuration, it uses a smaller E26/E27 LED bulb rated at 5V and 5W, drawing power from an internal battery that holds a charge for roughly 15 hours on a full charge, more than enough for several evenings of use before needing to top up again. Because it ships to different regions, the plug included matches the corresponding outlet type for the country of the order, so no separate adapter is needed out of the box. The body is metal with a lacquered finish, chosen for durability and a smooth, consistent surface that resists the scuffs and fingerprints that plainer matte finishes tend to show more readily. Whichever power configuration you choose, the dome and stem stay the same recognizable silhouette, so the aesthetic doesn't change even as the use case does. Charging the cordless version is as simple as connecting the included USB cable overnight, and the lacquered dome shows the charge status clearly enough that you're rarely caught off guard by a lamp that's quietly run out of power mid-evening.

Monvera Space stocks the mushroom lamp because its shape does something most table lamps don't: it reads as genuinely fun without sacrificing the warm, considered feel we look for in every fixture we carry. Use the plug-in version as a dedicated desk lamp where consistent brightness matters, or go cordless and rechargeable for a lamp that can move between the dining table, the bedside, and the porch depending on the evening. Its rounded, slightly retro silhouette pairs naturally with mid-century furniture but also holds its own in a more contemporary room looking for a bit of personality on a side table. Order it as a pair for symmetrical nightstands, or place a single one somewhere unexpected, a bathroom counter, a reading nook, a kitchen island, and let its shape do the work of making that corner of the house feel finished. It also makes an easy gift for someone setting up a first home, since it needs no assembly, no special outlet, and no real styling knowledge to look right the moment it's unboxed and switched on, which is more than most furniture can promise straight out of the box, and it tends to be the first thing a new room actually feels finished around.
