hinoki-wood-table-lamp
HINOKI Stack Wood Table Lamp

Bring a sense of calm and natural warmth into your space with the HINOKI Stack Wood Table Lamp. The base is built from solid wood pieces stacked in a sculptural, layered arrangement, each block slightly offset from the one below it, giving the whole lamp a handmade, almost topographic quality even before it's switched on. That stacked construction is the visual heart of the piece, more interesting to look at than a simple turned or straight wooden column, and it catches light and shadow differently depending on the angle you're viewing it from across the room. A softly textured fabric shade sits on top, diffusing the E27 bulb's light into a warm, ambient glow well suited to a bedroom nightstand, a living room side table, or a quiet reading corner where you want gentle illumination rather than bright overhead lighting. At 15 inches tall with an 8.5 inch diameter base, it has enough scale to feel substantial without overwhelming a smaller side table, and its balanced, minimalist proportions make it an easy fit for a Japandi, wabi-sabi, or generally pared-back modern interior. It's a lamp that looks intentional switched off, sitting on a shelf as a quiet wood sculpture, and just as considered once it's lit and doing its actual job.

The stacked wood base is the defining feature of the HINOKI's construction, solid wood pieces layered and offset to create a sculptural column rather than a single uniform shape, a technique that requires genuine attention to grain matching and joinery to look intentional rather than accidental. Because it's solid wood rather than veneer or a wood-look composite, the natural grain and color variation of each block is visible and unique to that particular lamp, meaning no two units look quite identical, which is part of the appeal for anyone drawn to natural materials over uniform, mass-produced finishes. On top, a fabric shade provides the light diffusion, softening the E27 bulb's output into an even, glare-free glow rather than a hot, direct beam. Maximum output sits at a gentle 15 watts, appropriate for a lamp intended as ambient bedside or accent lighting rather than a primary task light. At 15 inches tall and 8.5 inches in diameter, the proportions are balanced enough to sit comfortably on most nightstands, side tables, or shelving without needing an oversized surface to accommodate it. Because the base is solid wood, it should be kept away from prolonged direct moisture, a dry cloth is all it needs to keep the surface looking good over years of use.

Featuring a sculptural stacked solid wood base and a softly textured fabric shade, this lamp casts a gentle, ambient glow that's perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, and reading corners, and at Monvera Space it's exactly the kind of piece we look for: something that treats a table lamp as a genuine piece of furniture rather than a purely functional accessory bolted together to hit a price point. Its balanced proportions and minimalist form make it an effortless match for Japandi, Wabi-Sabi, and modern interiors, sitting comfortably next to linen bedding, wide-plank flooring, and other natural-material choices already common in a warm, considered home. Place it on a nightstand as a soft alternative to overhead lighting before bed, or set it on a living room side table where its sculptural stacked form holds visual interest even when it's switched off. Because the wood grain varies naturally from piece to piece, choosing this lamp means choosing a genuinely one-of-a-kind object, not a printed or uniform reproduction of a wood look. It's a small, quiet piece of furniture that happens to also provide excellent ambient light, which is really the whole idea behind everything we carry, from lamps to sconces to full pendants.

Max output: 15W

Height: 15" (38 cm)

Diameter: 8.5" (21.6 cm)

Bulb: LED E27 (not included)

Base: solid wood

Shade: fabric

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0841/6316/6452/files/hf_20260812_043501_c1a6ce3e-94a6-437f-b6fa-613f4a63d821.png?v=1786509450
